Which fruit and vegetable have the most vitamin contents ?
Are there any fruit and vegetable which are the most superior in their vitamin contents ?
Each of them will have different quantities of different vitamins and stuff. You can't compare as each has different things
One might suggest that the foods, lately popularized as being, super-foods. Are ones with many things beneficial for our species?
I became a vegetarian in late 1960's. It was becoming, then, more popular. Often the culture from that time; is sneered at with it's connections to hedonism? The reality is; many people then, were trying to create more awareness of "you are what you eat" and other global concern. Organisations such as Greenpeace, sprung from the feelings that nobody was caring for the planet, just taking from it. The U.S. letting off nuclear bombs in that pacific jewel around Bikini, as if no tomorrow. Ideals that were then a continuum of people before. Hopefully more people will adopt a veggie/vegan lifestyle, in the future?
The irony in it all is, as people start realizing that animal/meat proteins are mostly redundant, for our species. That then agro-business, starts over-charging for things that have always been inexpensive. Because nobody wanted them.
Whole grains becoming higher priced than the processed? Unsalted butter, significantly more than salted ...... now how does that work?
As lobobrandon points out "you cannot compare". Obviously eating deadly nightshade or belladonna; will interact poorly with digestion. Yet each both the carrot and nightshade have their purpose of both benefit and redaction.
Myself, I enjoy all the ones found at a good grocery. I always try to grow a season's garden, I hope folks out there, do too?

Anyway this is a very rough comparison because of nutritional composition of a fruit or a vegetable depends on many factors like climatology where it grows and cultivar/variety. Anti-nutrient factors also to be considered.
All fruits and vegetables are nutritious. They all have rich nutritional profile. The important thing is to eat them in their freshest state.
Apples are rich in phyto-nutrients; but they are not necessarily the most superior.
You've heard that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, right. There must be a reason why it stood out among the rest of the fruits.

I don't have favorites. But when I'm down with a cold, fresh apple and pear juice are my first line of defense.
